2005 Foray and Event Schedule

The WMMS meets 6-8 times a year, starting with the organizational meeting in April. At this meeting, which is held at the Ludington Senior's Center, officers are elected and the schedule is set for the year. This schedule will be posted here and in the newsletter as soon as it is determined. The rest of the meetings are forays and are held at various sheltered places near good habitats for the types of mushrooms of interest during that particular time of year. 2005 FORAY SCHEDULE (so far)

Morel Foray, Saturday, April 30, 9:30am at Eden Twp. Hall, Foray leader: Gene Campbell, sack lunch

Directions: Go to Custer, MI; turn south at the yellow blinking light (Custer Rd.) and go about 5 miles to Hawley Rd. Turn left on Hawley and go west 1.25 miles. The Hall is on the right.

Oyster Foray, Saturday, June 4th, 1:30pm at Catherine Schilling's - potluck

Catherine lives on Long Lake about a mile east of Walhalla. Take US 10 east past Walhalla and look for the sign for "Fair Oaks Estates". Go north to 112 Fair Oaks. Again, contact Gene for more information.
